Media Advisory/REMINDER: Macdonald-Cartier Bridge-Lane ReductionsGATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Dec. 3, 2012) - Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of lane reductions on the Macdonald-Cartier Bridge during nighttime hours on weekdays. These reductions will be in effect from Monday, December 3 until the morning of Friday, December 7, 2012.
These reductions will affect the center lane and the lane adjacent to the median of the Ontario-bound lanes from Monday, December 3, 2012 until the morning of Wednesday, December 5, 2012 between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. The centre lane and the lane adjacent to the sidewalk of the Quebec-bound lanes will be affected by reductions from Wednesday, December 5, 2012 until the morning of Friday, December 7, 2012.
These reductions are necessary to conduct general repairs on the bridge.
Pedestrians will not be affected by these reductions.
The schedule may change due to weather conditions.
Public Works and Government Services Canada encourages users to exercise caution when travelling in the construction zone and thanks them for their patience.
