Après les bâtiments verts, les agents immobiliers verts
ILE-DES-SOEURS, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - 25 nov. 2009) - Après les bâtiments verts arrive une nouvelle initiative environnementale dans le domaine immobilier : l'agent immobilier vert. Cette nouvelle certification, lancée ce matin par la Fédération des chambres immobilières du Québec (FCIQ), permettra aux agents immobiliers d'acquérir de nouvelles connaissances sur l'environnement et d'ainsi mieux informer leurs clients sur les risques environnementaux reliés à l'immobilier.
"L'environnement est une préoccupation de plus en plus importante pour les consommateurs", indique Michel Beauséjour, FCA, chef de la direction de la FCIQ. "Avec la certification de l'agent immobilier vert, nous voulons répondre à cette préoccupation des gens en leur permettant de travailler avec un spécialiste de l'immobilier qui saura les guider dans la transaction la plus importante de leur vie tout en les aidant à respecter leurs convictions environnementales."
Pour être reconnu agent immobilier vert, l'agent devra suivre une formation spécialisée au cours de laquelle il développera différentes compétences, telles que reconnaître les principaux risques environnementaux et leurs impacts sur une transaction immobilière, comprendre les principales normes et certifications environnementales ainsi que développer des compétences transactionnelles et rédactionnelles liées aux problématiques environnementales en immobilier commercial, résidentiel et industriel. L'agent immobilier vert sera également initié au droit environnemental en immobilier et pourra identifier les types d'écosystèmes et les zones naturelles de son milieu.
La certification de l'agent immobilier vert s'inscrit dans le cadre du programme Qualité de vie que la FCIQ a adopté afin de démontrer son engagement à améliorer la qualité de vie des communautés du Québec. Ce programme repose sur cinq principes de base venant encadrer les orientations politiques et publiques de la FCIQ, soit assurer un développement économique continuel, permettre une offre d'habitation convenable, protéger notre environnement, améliorer les conditions de vie des résidants et bâtir de meilleures communautés.
