| Project: | proposed construction of an underwater transmission project beginning north of the Canadian border and running 596 km along the botton of Lake Champlain, down the bed of the Hudson River, into New York City, and under the Long Island Sound into Connecticut. The project will involve buried HVdc underwater and underground cable and will be installed using low-impact water jet technology. |
