Prince Edward Island resort secures infrastructure loan

CAVENDISH, P.E.I.

The federal government has approved a $400,000 infrastructure loan for Resort Municipality in Cavendish. The low-cost loan of almost $400,000 will be drawn from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp.’s Municipal Infrastructure Lending Program (MILP).

It will help extend a wastewater sewer system and services to residents of the Seawood Estates subdivision.
