Site preparation is now underway at the new Duchess Park Secondary School in Prince George.

Vancouver-based Hughes Condon Marler Architects have designed the new building to meet LEED Gold certification.

The firm of Western Industrial Contractors is acting as the construction manager on the $30 million design/build project.

When complete in 2010, the two-storey, 120,000-square-foot Duchess Park facility will be home to 900 students.
