Municipality of Alleyn-et-Cawood earns $230,000 from gax-tax revenue program

ALLEYN-ET-CAWOOD, QUE.

The Municipality of Alleyn-et-Cawood, Quebec will receive its first payment under the federal-provincial agreement on the transfer of a portion of federal gasoline tax revenues.

The first payment of $92,091 is part of $230,227 in total funds earmarked for the community for important infrastructure projects.

Alleyn-et-Cawood will use the funds to proceed to the paving of Jondee, de Cawood and Parc Heeney roads as well as proceed with the gravel compaction on the following roads Harrisson (1.5 km), de Cawood ouest (2 km), Copeland-Evans (3.5 km) and Firobin (1.5 km).
