Roadside worker dies at Mississauga job site
BRAMPTON
A Brampton man working with a road resurfacing crew on Dixie Road suffered fatal injuries at a Mississauga project site, Peel police report.
Joseph Pascall, 36, was operating a hand-held road grinder at 8:45 p.m. when a large road grinder backed over him July 30.
Pascall was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries and died later that evening.
The road resurfacing crew was working on Dixie near Eglinton Avenue. The Ministry of Labour and Peel police’s Major Collision Bureau are investigating.
