A new affordable housing project is under construction at 501 Adelaide Street East in Toronto.
Bluescape keeps on top of construction at 501 Adelaide residential project
Construction manager Bluescape Construction Management Inc. began building at 501 Adelaide Street East in September 2007. Completion of the project is scheduled for May 2009.
Designed by architectsAlliance for owner Toronto Community Housing Corp., the 14-storey, 180-unit building will offer retail space on the ground floor and two levels of underground parking.
Consultants are Jablonsky Ast & Partners (structural); Jain & Associates (mechanical/electrical); and The Planning Partnership (landscape).
Subtrades include Salit Steel Ltd. (rebar); Delgant (Civil) Ltd. (formwork); CBM (concrete supply); Village Masonry; D. Zentil Mechanical Ltd.; Jenner Electric Ltd.; Allan Window Systems Inc.; Viana Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd. (roofing) and Kone Inc. (elevators).
