Alberta Schools Alternative Procurement Project

Alberta chooses Bird and partners as preferred proponents for new schools projects

TORONTO

A subsidiary of Bird Construction Income Fund, along with other partners of a consortium, have been named as the preferred proponent in the pursuit of the Alberta Schools Alternative Procurement project, while a second subsidiary has been awarded a contract by Fort Hills Energy L.P.

Bird is a member of the B&B Alberta Schools consortium recently selected as the preferred proponent to design, build, finance and maintain 18 schools in Alberta.

Bird has also been awarded a design-build construction contract with Fort Hills Energy L.P. The contract is for the design and construction of six buildings near Fort McMurray.
