Concrete work moves along at the new Runnymede Healthcare Centre in Toronto.

Work proceeds smoothly at Bondfield’s Runnymede Healthcare Centre project

Bondfield Construction began building the state-of-the-art Runnymede Healthcare Centre project in November 2007. Completion is scheduled for summer 2010.

Designed by Stantec, the four-storey, 178,000-square-foot hospital facility includes 200 beds, therapy rooms, chapel, town square, two courtyards and therapy garden.

Consultants are Halcrow Yolles (structural) and H.H. Angus & Associates (mechanical/electrical).

Subcontractors include Anpro Excavating & Grading; Forma-con (formwork/rebar supply); Dufferin Concrete; Geo. A. Kelson Co. Ltd. (mechanical); Plan Electric Co.; General Sprinklers Inc.; and Pollard Enterprises Ltd. (roofing).
